Together with the release of STK 8.1.3, AGI has announced the availability of DSIM – the distributed simulation module for STK.

This module allows you to link STK to any standard modelling and simulation (M&S) package that conforms to either DIS or HLA protocols. What DSIM does is summarised on AGI’s website:

“DSim is a complete off-the-shelf solution that can import from and output to any DIS/HLA data from any M&S environment. DSim users can support thousands of entities by using multi-track objects and can also write their own plug-ins for added flexibility and customization. MÄK Technologies’ VR-Link allows the tool to interface with standard protocols which conform to industry standards.”

You can download DSIM from here. Just remember, you’ll need to have upgraded STK to version 8.1.3 in order to use DSIM.
